I have to put oil in my car ever 500 miles and they say that the engine consuming 1 qt every 1000 miles is normal. took it in for first test, told all good. They told me to bring it in, but if the check engine light began to blink to *immediately* stop the car and call for a tow or risk serious damage. Im never getting another Honda. Same size engine, vtec everything but it doesnt have this foolish Eco Mode. in every other week. Now, Im concerned that there may have been damage to my engine. Had rear brakes replaced twice, burns a quart of oil in between each oil change; now my spark plugs are shot and have to be replaced.Nothing covered under my extended warranty plan . I was really looking forward to no car payments. Same answer. This is my 1st and last Honda. Thank goodness I did not drive it to the dealership.
